By the age of 2 or 3 most dogs have some accumulation of plaque or tartar on their teeth. This will continue to build up causing gum irritation and eventually tooth decay. This can be avoided by having your dogs teeth cleaned periodically.
Keep in mind that tooth decay/infection is painful for your dog and neglecting it is likely to be very costly in the future. (The average vet charges $250 to $550 for basic dental work and require your dog to be sedated.)
The cost is $25 to $65 depending on the difficulty and extent of cleaning completed and is now available at
Sleepy Creek Pet Lodge.
